Ski Trick Fun Nozawa
Beautiful sunny days on the menu for today and tomorrow in Nozawa Onsen.
When I was chatting with Nozawa Holidays ski instructor Coco the other day, he expressed to me how skiing and snowboarding are really all about just having fun!
It’s very easy to get caught up in the desire to improve and get better, focusing on the technical side of riding.
And of course it’s great to challenge ourselves to learn and grow in our skiing and boarding techniques.
But it’s also important to remember that being an expert at skiing or snowboarding doesn’t just mean being able to do expert and black diamond courses!
Coco said, how about skiing backwards all the way down Paradise?
Try something new while you’re out and about exploring the mountain today.
You could try a 360 degree spin on the slope, or dolphin turns. Why not try out the worm turn!
When the piste has been freshly groomed paired with a bluebird day like today, you have the perfect environment to play and have some silly fun on your board or skis!

SNOW FORECAST:
The week has started off bluebird with sunshine and azure coloured skies! Tomorrow will be much like today – sunny with scattered clouds. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen! We look forward to a fresh snow dump forecast for Wednesday with around 20cm of snow its way. Scattered snow showers will then continue for the week. Looking ahead on the long range forecast, Monday to Wednesday next week are looking nice and snowy, perfect timing for a good top up of fresh powder to keep our winter wonderland ticking along.
Check back tomorrow for the latest forecast!
