This morning we woke to the town covered in a white layer of fluffy snow. If it is noticeably different down here, then we can’t wait to get up on the mountain! Firstly though, onsen time…

Yamabiko, Uenotairia and the runs to mid station are currently open although with the fresh 10cm of snow overnight and it continuing to fall, there will be plenty of fun on the slopes today. With the prediction of constant snow over the next two days, we hope that more lifts will be opened shortly.
We have already had word that Yamabiko is incredible right now, I believe the words “powder” and “wow” was used several times within a single sentence. If you are wanting to see the slopes for yourself, have a look at our Live Cams on
