Whole Resort now open in Nozawa
Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 23rd December 2020
Yesterday on the slopes in Nozawa was as good as it gets really with blue skies, fresh snow and very few people about. Today promises to be just as good. No fresh snow but plenty of sunshine and the trees up top still doing the frozen broccoli thing. Pretty much the whole resort is now open too and there should be still some fresh snow on the new runs open today. Including the famous Skyline Course which is now 7km of thigh burning fun from top to bottom. Hands up if you love Skyline?

Whole Resort Open Nozawa Onsen
Karasawa slope also open from today and should be like a private slope in there and truly magnificent with the snow still lingering in the large pine trees that line the course. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts as from tomorrow night the snow is back with another decent dump expected. Good to see the base consolidating too and will help to stabilise everything before the new snow arrives. What an amazing start to the season it has been.
