1. Rainbow supermarket (フレッシュストアレインボウ）
Rainbow is the biggest supermarket in Nozawa village. You can find most of the necessary food items, as well as cleaning and daily use products. During the day it’s also possible to buy fresh fish. Credit card payment is also accepted at the store.

2. Food center UOYASU (フードセンターうおやす）
Uoyasu is a small supermarket which offers everything from vegetables and fruits to dry food items and cleaning products. Card payment is accepted at the store.

3. Butcher Niku no Washino (肉のわしの）
Aside from meat products sold at the supermarkets, the butcher store of the village offers a wider selection and is also a better alternative if you are keen to try out other fresh meat options.

4. Convenience store Yamazaki（やまざき）
Yamazaki is a typical Japanese convenience store which offers all sort of beverages, snacks, and other fast to go food options. In the winter they also sell hot drinks.

Outside the Nozawa Onsen village
Tsuruya supermarket
For bigger grocery shopping, Tsuruya supermarket located next to Iiyama Station is a very good option with wide selection of all food products but also daily use items. They offer everything from vegetables, fruits and meat to ready bentos (Japanese lunch boxes) and fresh baked bread. Card payment is also accepted at the store
Iiyama Station is only 20 minutes away from the Nozawa village with the Nozawa Liner bus
