Golden Week and Silver Trees in Nozawa
The long Japanese holiday is in full swing and plenty of people up on the slopes taking in the last skiing of the season. The beautiful Buna trees also put on a show giving us perhaps the last “Frozen Broccoli” scene for the winter.

This the reminence of that little snow fall we had a few days ago. I am going to hazard a guess it may have been the last of the season for Nozawa but have to wait and see. We may be a little biased but after 30 Years of traveling around Japan we still think Nozawa Onsen has everything we are looking for. Lucky we came here first 🙂
