Magic March Nozawa Spring Skiing
Spring Racing Season in Nozawa Onsen. Fantastic day for the annual Downhill – Top to Bottom Race in Nozawa today. The Hato Guruma Cup draws competitors from all over Japan and even a few international entries. Perfect conditions with Clear skies and cold Temps should make for a fast track. 5 cm of fresh snow will make it a bit more forgiving too.

Maybe can beat 3 time winner Villa Nozawa’s Gab Sutter from Switzerland pictured above. It is always on the middle of March and a great time to be here. Clear blue skies predicted the next few days, no winds and warmer temps should make for some gorgeous Spring days. Currently-7 degrees up top and resort reporting 5cm of fresh snow overnight.
