Nozawa Onsen Spring Snow Report, 24th of March 2019
If Sunday is a day to be thankful then one need only look outside to know what to be thankful for today – fresh Nozawa Onsen spring snow! The official report from the top of the mountain this morning shows 15 centimetres of fresh stuff. Even the town has turned wintery white again thanks to snowfall at village level.
Magic March has been turning it on for us, despite the few days of relatively ordinary weather we had earlier in the week. The forecast suggests that the skies should clear for some decent visibility later today. Given the powder, there’s a good chance that a lot of the weekenders will be delaying their trip home for a few hours. With that in mind, be careful on the mountain if you’re going up this morning.
