5cm of fresh snow overnight for Nozawa
It’s April and we are still seeing dustings of snow across the top of the resort. Crazy stuff when the Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Tokyo. Mind you it is still pretty chilly there too. This little top up and the sub zero temps should make for some good skiing across the top of the mountain. The resort is only open down to Paradise anyway so you need to download on the Gondola. Guessing the resort is saving things for the weekend when there will be more guests about. So we may see top to bottom again tomorrow.

Runs: Spring mountain now just Paradise and above open

SNOW FORECAST:
Light snow expected to continue throughout today. Then fingers crossed we should finally see some sunshine and warmer temps from tomorrow for what should be a fun weekend in Nozawa. Don’t imagine there will be huge numbers as most people’s mindset seems to change when the Cherry Blossoms pop.
