Sunshine After Powder Days
A bit of sun after the last few days of powder fun
Great time to be in Nozawa, we have had an epic few days on the hill with this late February snow fall. Tuesday was amazing when the snow just kept falling and yesterday was just as good with plenty of powder up for grabs all over and amazing conditions under foot on the slopes. It snowed lightly most of the day and was nice and cold keeping everything fresh. Plenty of smiles sliding down the slopes all day. Was almost surprised to see the sun and blue skies this morning but the fair weather skiers will be revelling and it is going to be “rippa” of a day ahead in Nozawa. Big night last night for all the Nozawa Holidays Team with the annual Retro party at Kongo. Well deserved and a big Arigato for all your hard work over the season taking care of our amazing guests.

❄️ SNOW FORECAST:
Enjoy the sun while it lasts as the snow should turn back on tonight up top at least. We may get some rain down low unfortunately as the sun warms things up. That will also turn to snow from tomorrow evening though as those northerly Siberian winds push in another cold front. For up top we could see almost another 40cm of fresh snow between now and Saturday morning! Then it will remain cold but sunny for a few days into the Weekend. Lots of light snow marks appearing from Tuesday on but no big systems at this stage. Temps are forecast to remain cold however all the way until March 11th at this stage so the snow should hold nicely.
Remember the March Lantern festival and Fireworks on this Saturday the 2nd from 7pm on the Nagasaka Slope. Check out times and what usually goes on here; https://www.nozawaholidays.com/news/lantern-festival-nozawa-onsen-2/
Have an awesome day on the slopes basking in the sunshine and great snow in Nozawa.
