That has certainly been the case this year with many that have been here since early December calling yesterday as good as it gets. We were still getting fresh lines at 3pm yesterday afternoon. February Bliss Nozawa Onsen Light snow today, clearing for a bluebird morning tomorrow in Nozawa Waking up to a thin layer of clouds above Nozawa this morning with the skies gradually clearing from the afternoon shaping up for a clear sky and beautiful views on Saturday morning. Yesterday surprised us with a little more sunshine than the forecast predicted, brightening up everyone’s day and provided with perfect slope conditions and great visibility. Perfect Day Slopes Nozawa An amazing day on the slopes awaits in Nozawa! After 3 days of non stop snow the Snow gods are taking a break this morning in Nozawa. The resort reporting another 17cm of fresh snow overnight bringing the total of this storm close to the 1 meter mark. It was coming down heavy in town last night. Yesterday the top of the mountain was not accessible due to wind hold on the Gondola. But today winds have eased, skies have cleared, lifts look all set to open and all that untouched powder awaits.
