Business For Sale Nozawa

We bathed in beautiful sunshine most of the day on the slopes yesterday. Sharing a beer over lunch on the Paradise slope taking in the views was sublime. The snow was great too, a bit icy up top as temps remained reasonably cool. The clock at Nagasaka was saying 1 degree above but got an ice cream headache on the way down from Yamabiko.

From Uenotaira down the snow started to soften up and Paradise was what I like to call al dente just the right mixture of spring snow a bit of slush but still a good texture and fast.

New snow since yesterday: 0cm

Base at the top of Nagasaka: 335 cm

Snow conditions: Compact early and should soften up

Weather: High cloud chance of light snow later

Runs: All runs open except Grand Prix and Kurokura

Lifts: All lifts open

SNOW FORECAST:

Still looks promising for all of next week on the snow front. Starting tomorrow the top half of the mountain at least should see some light falls. Temps drop into Monday and snow levels increase. Wednesday the 19th looking like the biggest day at this stage with over 30cm forecast. Thursday the 20th is a public holiday so we may see a few locals taking to the uncrowded slopes. The Holiday is Equinox day when night and day are approximately the same length and spring is officially here in Japan. All shots from yesterday.
