First day of the Season in Nozawa Onsen!
Beautiful sunny bluebird day to kick off the season here in Nozawa. 50cm of base up top at Yamabiko and fun conditions on the slopes with a bit of powder to delve into on the sides.
With the sun out and relatively light winds we certainly can’t complain and awesome to get to ski the last day of November! A few people have come up to get their first tracks for the season.
With the sun out it will warm up and no doubt change the conditions a bit in to the afternoon. Good news it gets cold again tomorrow and at this stage another 20cm of fresh snow expected, with more again on the weekend.
