That old March Magic in Nozawa
Still coming down from the high of yesterday and a terrific March powder day in Nozawa. There was plenty of tracks on offer across the resort and many of the local crew took advantage of the mellow March crowds and got in some fun turns. It was not as deep as some days we have had this season but still great conditions. Today still looking the goods and with temps hovering just below freezing point the snow should still be awesome.

For all the racers out there don’t forget the famous Hato Guruma Cup Top to Bottom race which takes place in Nozawa on the 20th and 21st of March this year. Registration closes tomorrow. There is also Giant Slalom races to compete in and a great vibe in town that weekend. Be sure to attend the welcome dinner hosted at the Sparena Convention centre the night before and run shoulders with local Skiing legends. Olympic Champions past and present along with all the other races and a few beers it is a great start to the weekend. Maybe just don’t drink too much.
