Nozawa Onsen Spring Snow Report, 14th of March, 2019 Last night put the “magic” in Magic March. We awoke to a fresh 40 centimetres on top of Mount Kenashi and a very healthy amount throughout the village. The shovels were out as though it was January but there’s only one place to be now – on the mountain! After a few more centimetres come daylight, the cloud is clearing to reveal blue skies. Nozawa Snow Report Wednesday 21st of February 2018
We woke up to snowfall again! (10cm overnight) It’s always a good sign when the road to the Gondola is covered with snow in the morning. It seems we are on a snowfall, sunshine, snowfall, sunshine, snowfall, sunshine repeat patten of weather at the moment as we have sunshine predicted for tomorrow and then snow again the following day. The longer range forecast at this stage has sunshine at the beginning of next week, then what looks to be a heavy snow dump in the second half of the week.
